The first days of Fall weather: Thank you for some cool air

So here it is, cold weather rushing in, football is taking over our television and ESPN daily. Just to catch up on what's already been seen five times. Life is good. Now we can sleep with the windows open, cool breeze coming in and blinds are bouncing back and forth hitting the window making for a great white noise to sleep. And sleep we have been!!! Maddy and I took a stroll to the Riverbanks Zoo with Granola and sweet Brenley. Was cool outside but enjoyed walking and talking with good ole Granola. Maddy RAN the whole time and wore her little self out. But this time she totally enjoyed the giraffes big tongue lick with out being terrified- which I was too terrified of the black tongue to even feed it. But she did!!! So many more great days to be had at the zoo because the weather is officially perfect for it.

And as always we enjoyed a little football at Josh & Heathers. Needless to say- corn hole took place till 3AM, which for us is like doomsday the following day with a 2 year old. But was a great time and first start of Chili season and sweatshirts.

So following the first day of Fall which is always when my birthday pops up. I officially turned 35! Yes, the big half way mark before the four O... This age thing did not set in until the following day of my birthday but I woke up feeling like omg, my body aches, knees crack when I bend down and wrinkle creams need to be more intense. Not a problem, because I've got this under control. I woke up on my birthday with scraggly hair, no makeup and not so cute pjs, but Adam insist I go make myself a cup of coffee. Off I went to slowly head to the Keurig and found a BEAUTIFUL bouquet of autumn flowers I had so nicely requested. I was super stunned because they were exactly as I had envisioned. He usually nails it on the head. have to give it to him. Day went on and we grilled an awesome dinner- had my fav "cheesecake" for dessert followed by champagne with Tammy & Chris- which is super great company. Love to spend any occasion with those two. So grateful for such an awesome birthday..

And YES I did get my BOOTS I have been wanting!!! Stoked- ready for rain....

And a BIG Thanks too B. Shanny :) for my Birthday lunch with our girls at Copper River. Made me not feel so bad about my turning of age. Shes next!!!

Nice glass of Merlot for our lunch date!!
Maddy of course eating her French fries and ranch dressing for dips!!!

WEDDING DAY

September 14th: Kendall & Zach's Wedding day

Weather is definitely not feeling like an early September wedding, that's for sure, but we are getting ready for one anyways.
Wedding took place at The Jasmine House, which is such a beautiful old historic home that has been transformed into a almost secret gardenish wedding venue. First all the brides and of course the bride to be joined at one of the houses to get hair styled up and ready for the wedding.
Which was a bunch of beer drinking and a good ole southern girly pre-wedding Tequila Shot!!!!
Wedding was short & sweet- which is just how I love them. The girls all wore cowboy boots, so it was just adorable. And little Miss Madalyn was a great flower girl. Loved her boots I think mostly and running around trying to find fountains to get wet in.
Reception had great food and music- so we danced the night away and I had to ride home barefoot with extremely sore feet.

And Happy Birthday to our Lil Bud Abby Kate.....

Sept 13th: Joshuas Birthday Celebration

Saturday September 13th: Joshua's 41st bday Celebration

Celebrating a birthday with two of our favs and a few tables of more favs at Miyabi Saturday evening. Was such a great time with all the kids together and friends. Of course Josh could not give the evening up without a little birthday dance on the table, which was pretty funny. I think he had most tables In the restaurant laughing. A little fottball at their house after and a few cold beers to end the evening.

Oh and we cant forget a little OHIO STATE Football
