Hellllllllo Sunshine... 80 degrees and loving it

Well here it is! Yes the start of our fabulous weather. Madalyn and I spent hours outside yesterday taking walks, having lunch, going on wagon rides, finding our shadows- which she was so confused about, and visiting our neighbors. Awwwwww the sun made me feel so good. Def not a snow or long winter person- this is a lake/beach girl all the way. Madalyn has not yet been to the beach. Ive always like my babies to get to the age of 2 before being exposed to the harsh beach sun. Advice given to me for my first child that the best way to keep skin from burning is to wait till that baby skin turns two.... So Madalyn is officially ready for the beach. And hopefully she has her daddies silky dark skin and not mommies white skin...

And today is my best friends birthday. This girl and I have been through it and back but never a dull moment and never even a girl spat to date. We were sisters that were meant to be. Love her with all my heart.... Saddie and Tater/ aka BUGGIES

First weekend of March

Loving this warmer weather. And a busy little weekend we had all planned out. The South Carolina weather is about the best you can get. Our warm weather last about 9 months out of the year, the cold might linger 2 months and we are surrounded by beaches and mountains to visit. Love love love it. And Charleston has always been my all time fav to visit for the beach all day and eat at the closest shrimp shack, the expos that they put on in the downtown area, a romantic getaway for dinner and drinks, or a girls trip....... I could go on, but theres just too many great things about it. Kinsley had a chorus performance Friday evening and it was really good. She looked beautimous as usual. Then Saturday morning she had opening day for softball parade and her first game. The weather was perfect for a little softball. She just loves to play and we just love to watch. Its a win win!!! Also being my Best Friend/Sisters bday weekend and sheeeeee just so happens to live in Charleston. So yep, I was lucky enough to head to a super spot for a warm visit with the girls to celebrate. Was such a fun time and our Voodoo bowl drink was delish. But probably all we needed. Night life is fun- if your in your 20's. Being in our late 30's seems to be the not so cool thing to do. Its almost like your too old to even dance and your not. Girls don't wear much clothing anymore either. So we got a good laugh at a few. Annnnnnnnd a young thang, said we were like stepford wives. NOT!!! We fixed that comment quick- or you can say I did. Ugh- girls can be just painful. But had loads of fun with my Lauras. Cant wait to go back....

Love her...... Happy 36th celebration

BRUNCH TIME at Liberty On The Lake

The best bloody mary in town and nice view on a windy cold day..... Maddy was enjoying watching the ducks swimming in the lake. Mimosas, manmosas, chicken n' waffles, shrimp n' grits and breakfast pizza for the little lady....

Indoor cold days leads to selfies..... And waiting for warmer weather

At least we are only a month away from spring weather that leads to summer weather that means BOATING, BEACHING, TAN SKINS, SUNSHINE & HOOOOOOOOT DAYS.... So excited! Best part of living in the south is the weather and activities. Now that I'm home with these crazy kids, we will be practically be living in Charleston for the summer.... Folly beach and Isle of Palms are my happy places.
But for now..... we have to find a few things to do INSIDE!!!

And cook crockpot food... Our yummy CHILI

DISNEY LIVE for Madalyns first show

Madalyn soooo loves Mickey & Minnie Mouse...... So we couldn't resist getting tickets for their Friday showing. She danced, she sang, she yelled and cheered on these REAL LIFE FRIENDS of hers.... 😉
